London Ice Sculpting Festival 2013

The annual Festival sees highly talented sculptors from the UK, USA, France, Hungary, Bulgaria, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Latvia, Belgium and Portugal as they compete to be crowned the 2013 Champions.

In 2013 London Ice Sculpting Festival will feature spectacular entertainment over three days, with the main action taking place in Wood Wharf and new, exciting attractions throughout Canary Wharf. There will be the ever popular ice carving Masterclasses, the fun, snow-filled Snowpit, an interactive Ice Graffiti Wall, Ice Chess, Winter Market and loads of not to be missed highlights including a special Northern Lights Laser Show!

This year’s theme calls on team’s of the world’s most talented ice artists to create the Wonders Of The Universe out of a gleaming 2-metre block of ice in the Doubles Competition. The winners will be decided by a judging panel but, in addition, there will be the new Sculptors’ Prize - the sculptors themselves will decide which Doubles Competition interpretation they consider to be the best.
